AFL – Paul Kelly Cup

The Primary boys competed in the local round of the Paul Kelly Cup. The

Yr 5 & 6 boys had come together from a range of sports with minimal AFL

game time or training behind them to be undefeated going into the final. They

came up against Mary Help of Christians in the final that were also undefeated.

MHoC’s team was made up of players of whom the majority of play AFL on the

weekend. BDC led into half time 13 – 7 with a wind advantage, unfortunatelyIMG_2310

this changed in the second half and the boys went down 14-13 at full time.

All boys played extremely well and improved their skills over the course of the

day. Thankyou to Mr Tony Horan for coaching the boys.
