Wet conditions a challenge for our netballers

IMG_2756 On Wednesday the BDC 7/8 girl’s netball team headed to Kempsey for the NSW Netball Northern Schools Cup. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side and we took to the courts in rain but we all made the best of the day. We faced many talented teams in our division, coming from schools from as far and wide as Taree, Port Macquarie, Bellingen and Macksville.

IMG_2749The team played well in the miserable conditions which made the courts and ball extremely slippery. We played five games and came away with a win in the final round against St Columba from Port Macquarie. Unfortunately, this was not enough to get us into the finals. The day was a great learning experience for us all.

We would like to thank Mrs Hilton, Mrs Walker and our netball mums for all their support and training over the past few months.
